Interns

The internship program at the Summer Play Festival is designed to give college and university students practical, hands-on experience in both the administrative and production roles in a four week theatre festival. Each intern will divide his/her time in both areas and will be assigned to at least one production for three weeks.

Intern Duties

Administrative duties may include general office tasks, assisting other production teams not yet in rehearsal (including your own), assisting the marketing departments, and helping staff as needed.

Production duties may include prop buying, attending rehearsals, stage management, and assisting members of the crew. Interns are expected to be available for all rehearsals and performances of their production. Schedules and show assignments will be provided at Orientation.

Please note that we do not accept applications from high school students, except for those who are entering a university or college in the fall. In addition, please note that all internships are unpaid.
